Production Layout Tech

JOB TITLE: Production-Layout
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Production Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
The Production Technician I is responsible for Layout activities required on memorials as well as
for various tasks associated with maintaining the shop.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Proofs memorials and stencils prior to sandblasting.
Attaches stencil to proper stones, does preliminary stencil cutting and layout detailing.
Also, re-sets stencil to stones once first sanding is performed.
Maintains output to coincide with installation calendar. Daily evaluation of production to assure products completed on time.
Confers and consults with upper management and co-workers on regular basis to ensure layout-design is performed without mistakes.
When proof reading and organization of memorial orders Initials and dates all orders and stencil(s).
Works with design and production departments to maintain production schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Graduation from high school.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
At least one year of recent related industry operations and/or production experience which includes the following skills and abilities:

Working knowledge of general production processes and related quality requirements.
Ability to plan, organize and perform production operations and programs.
Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with others and to present ideas effectively, orally and in writing.
Ability to accurately identify operational problems and/or opportunities and recommend effective solutions.
Ability to work effectively in a participative, team-oriented environment.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE
The Production Technician will be measure using the following criterion:

Completion of and follow through of elements as described in essential functions
Minimize mistakes and errors in the production process and if errors do occur the
correction of errors will be made in a timely manner.
Time spent appraising and correcting errors. And/or correcting mistakes.
Knowledge of production flow and ability to maintain an efficiency of operation.
Accuracy of daily work output.

Installation Specialist

JOB TITLE: Installation Specialist I
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Production Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
Responsible for the daily loading of the delivery truck and driving to the cemetery to install monuments/markers making sure that placement is correct.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Installs and delivers monuments/markers in appropriate places and in a timely manner.
Takes pictures of completed work and emails pictures of DMC’s installed product to DMC’s receptionist using company cell phone.
Responsible for loading the truck with the correct product to be installed daily. This individual will be trained in how to match the shipment with the sales orders.
Leaves jobsite neat and clean after installation of the product.
Responsible for completing daily inspection list for the install truck and providing the results to the production manager. Also, assists in cleaning the install truck.
Assists in maintaining the install truck and ensuring that the truck is clean, operational, and in good working condition.
Maintains the work loading area.
Individual needs to follow ALL safety procedures when installing product.
